About Us:

Kind Education is a specialist SEND-focused education staffing agency supporting primary, secondary and specialist schools across the UK. We are currently seeking Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to support pupils with (SEND).

About the role:

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and SENCOs to support pupils with a range of needs, including autism (ASD), SEMH, ADHD, speech and language needs, and complex learning difficulties. You may be supporting pupils on a one-to-one basis or within small groups, helping them to access learning and regulate their behaviour in a safe and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting pupils in the classroom and during structured activities

  • Implementing individual support strategies and behaviour plans

  • Promoting engagement, independence and positive behaviour

  • Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and social interaction

  • Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN teams

  • Maintaining safeguarding, confidentiality and professional boundaries at all times

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people (education, SEND or care settings preferred)

  • A calm, patient and resilient approach

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • A genuine interest in supporting children with SEND

  • Willingness to undertake safeguarding and SEND training

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

  • Right to work in the UK
