About Us
Kind Education: Purpose-Driven, People-Focused, Rooted in Community.
At Kind Education, we exist to make a difference - not just placements.
Founded with a clear mission to champion inclusive education, we specialise in connecting compassionate, skilled professionals with schools and settings that serve children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Based in Bristol and operating across the South West, we bring a human-first approach educational recruitment dedicated to SEND staffing.
A Vision Rooted in Kindness
We were born out of lived experience, educational insight, and a deep recognition of the urgent need for high-quality, values-led staffing in SEND environments. Whether it’s a pupil in need of one-to-one care, a school requiring long-term stability, or a TA looking for the right cultural fit — we believe every match should be made with purpose.
What Sets Us Apart
We’re not just a recruitment agency. We’re a values-led partner to schools and a supportive career ally for educators. Our difference lies in our approach:
SEND-Only Focus
We are not trying to be a one-size-fits-all supply agency. Our specialism means we understand EHCPs, SEMH, behaviour management, safeguarding, and school priorities better than most.
We Empower Educators
We believe that great support starts with supported staff. That’s why we provide our educators with free CPD opportunities, ongoing mentoring, and access to wellbeing support, helping them grow in confidence, stay resilient, and deliver their best for every child they work with
Representation with Purpose
We champion diverse staff in SEND roles to reflect the real makeup of classrooms — benefitting all pupils through understanding, empathy, and connection.
We put safeguarding first
As proud members of the Recruitment & Employment Confederation (REC), we uphold and adhere to the highest standards of safeguarding and professional conduct in education recruitment. Every candidate undergoes rigorous vetting in line with REC’s Code of Practice and statutory safer recruitment guidance. From DBS checks and reference verification to safeguarding training and compliance reviews
Built from Lived Experience:
Our leadership includes parents of SEND children.
This gives our leaders a rare level of insight and we understand schools want to work with people who “get it” on a personal and professional level.
This is not just business, it’s a mission to transform lives and bring in value
Fast, Attentive and Excellent Service
As a small and specialist agency, we take pride in offering a level of attention that larger providers cannot often match. We respond quickly to your staffing needs, whether it’s same-day emergency cover or longer-term SEND support and we stay in close communication every step of the way.
The Kind Education Team
Our leadership team is made up of former teachers, safeguarding officers, SEND parents, and recruitment professionals. This fusion of classroom knowledge and compliance experience allows us to deliver a service that is both empathetic and rigorously professional.
We understand safeguarding because we have led it. We know classroom dynamics because we’ve been in them. We appreciate every child is different and unique in their own way, however, we relate to SEND pupils on a deeper level because some of us are SEND parents ourselves, with first-hand experience of the challenges, emotions, and breakthroughs that come with supporting children with additional needs.
Our Mission
At Kind Education, our mission is to provide exceptional SEND staffing built on compassion, representation, and real understanding. As a BME-founded and led agency, we are committed to bridging the representation gap ensuring that pupils from all backgrounds, especially those from underrepresented communities, see themselves reflected in the support around them.
Skilled and Diverse SEND Workforce
We deliver a workforce that is not only skilled and SEND-specialist, but also culturally aware and community-rooted. Our educators are equipped to meet the needs of all pupils and bring added insight into the unique challenges that many SEND pupils including those from ethnic minorities face
Strengthened Inclusivity and Improved Outcomes
We aim to help schools and local authorities strengthen inclusivity, improve outcomes, and create environments where every child feels understood, supported, seen and heard. We are proud to be helping build an education system that is inclusive, resilient, and rooted in kindness.
Whether you are a school looking for a trusted support or an educator passionate about inclusive learning, you are in the right place.
